Coton à Broder

Anchor Coton a Broder is a lustrous, tightly twisted and mercerised 4 Ply cotton thread, suited for general embroidery use.  Made from extra-long staple 100% Egyptian cotton, Coton à broder is most popular for Blackwork and whitework as well as for drawn thread, openwork embroidery and general freestyle techniques.

Available in different sizes, or thicknesses: the higher the number, the finer the thread. No. 16 is the heaviest (thickest) and No. 25, perhaps the most popular size with greatest range of colours, is the finest (thinnest) of the Coton a Broder threads we stock.
