This soft and breathable 100% needlepunched cotton, with scrim provides a high quality addition to quilting projects. Great for machine quilting, Sew Simple Super-Soft Cotton is also suitable for hand quilters. Super-Soft Cotton Wadding is made from high quality ethically manufactured cotton with UltraClean carding used to ensure the removal of all impurities that may tarnish finished quilts or damage machine needles.
Machine or hand quilt up to 10 inches apart.
Pre-washing is not necessary. Once quilted, machine or hand wash using a mild detergent in cold water and dry flat. For machine washing use a delicate cycle.
3-5% shrinkage can be expected in the first wash using cold water, this will give your quilt the perfect antique wrinkled look.

When purchasing your wadding, don't forget to allow a little extra - your wadding should be 10-15cm (4-6") greater than your quilt top on each side. This is especially important if you plan to have your quilt long-arm quilted.
